At the July HSLNKC meeting on July 18, 2018 the time for educational programming will be used to discuss how HSLNKC members can support each other. Consortium purchasing is not the only benefit to membership in HSLNKC. Examples of things we have done and still do to help each other are:
- We offer Interlibrary Loans to members free of charge.
- We cover (do literature searches and create ILL requests) for a member who was on extended leave.
- Help members learn to use tools, such as Quick Doc for interlibrary loan.
- We share educational webinars and invite members to present an educational program.
What else can we do for each other? What can you share with the group? Think about these issues and bring your ideas and questions to the July meeting. We will have a group discussion to assess and begin to design the future of support for our members.
